Gripping each member of her flock by the horns, Amanda speedily ran the trimmer through the sheep’s thick wool in an even and straight fashion. Despite looking incredibly efficient in her shearing duties, the mum-of-nine confessed that she was out of practice. She followed up the statement with an emoji of a face wearing a bandage around its head. Amanda went on to hint the reason for her absence was in the last frame of the clip – which shockingly saw the star sport a large, crescent-shaped black bruise around her eye. A number of concerned fans flocked to social media to wish the star well. One fan said: “Ouch hope it isn’t too painful.” Another added: “Oooh! Bet that hurt…get well soon.” A third said: “Even with a black eye you look lovely. I guess one of the perks of the job. Haha no seriously sending you healing thoughts!!” Another commented: “Wishing you a speedy recover. Amazing lady.” To sign up for the Hull Live newsletter, click here.
